We just got back from Lost Maples Natural State Park, up in Vanderpool, TX. And I feel invigorated by the whole experience.

It’s like going to Yosemite but with a different vibe. In fact it felt like going back home. From the drive through Hill County down to the back-roads where there were barely any cars passing by to the park itself, simply amazing.

I tried my best to capture the essence of the hike but I felt I didn’t do it justice, anyhow here’s a sample:

If you have never done any hiking in your life or are tired of city life you should definitely try visiting this place.

In fact we so love the place that we’ve decided to go back this November (when all the maple leaves turn orange and brown) assuming Maan gets 3 days off hehehe.
