Hehehe, this is becoming a habit, did you notice?

Every month na lang, we send out one post, one post?! Compared to previous months when we’d publish three or more. Anyhow, ganun talaga, busy busy mga tao.

For starters, we just came back from Austin, the kapitolyo op Texas. It is also the technology center of Texas. Most of the major American IT companies have their R&D laboratories and campus satellites located there. To be honest it had the vibe of San Francisco with all its conio-ness and hippie-vibe. We both liked it and then some.

When we got back we went full-steam with Yana’s potty training and now she is certified Potty trained hehehe. She even manages not to pee at nights most of the time. She’s also managing to blurt out coherent sentences now, specially when she is pissed hahahaha. Like one time when I accidentally turned over her mini-pool and the water spilled, she loudly quipped, “WHAT DID YOU DO?! WHAT DID YOU DO?! WHAT DID YOU DO?!” hehehe, if she was any kid she would have been grounded or spanked right then and there, but no?! I was so happy I was almost teary eyed, I know mababaw, but to hear my daughter speak one straight sentence like that for the first time is priceless hahaha.

Speaking of punishment, Yana learned something devious after her potty training. Whenever we reprimand her and put her on time-out she threatens us with a pee-pee, specially during the early days of her training. She’d just peed right where she stood to show her frustration and anger, which meant she had to stay longer in time-out. But recently she’d shout pee-pee and we have no choice but to take her to her toilet, and the funny thing is that right after she does that our anger is gone. Man, my daughter is devious I wonder who she got it from, hmmm (wink, wink).
