well, here i am, it’s 0520 here in miami and i am wide awake. woke up at 2am(co’z i slept at 3pm after being up for almost 24 hrs), grabbed a banana and a starbucks mocha lite (my dinner) and then set up myself here in our other room (as marius and yana are soundly asleep).

today is february 1 and tomorrow will be a big day for us because our little yanapotpot will be turning O-N-E! How t ime really flies so fast. Last year, this same time, we were in London. I was into 4 hrs of my labor induction in West Middlesex Hospital, my nanay and Marius were there. Being induced was no fun at all (kaya next time, hopefully,makapag-normal delivery ako). I was hooked up to a monitor so that they could monitor yana’s heartbeat, and i was confined to bed. Kaya naman namanas talaga ako,4 hrs pa lang akong ini-induce, my feet started to swell up, i had to remove the socks that i w as wearing then. Tapos the anesthesiologist who did my epidural did it wrong the first time, kaya he had to do it twice. But ….i would do i t all over again just to have another miracle of life into our family. The minute i heard yana’s first cry (talagang “U-HAAA” ang narinig ko), napaiyak din ako sa tuwa. i thought “my baby’s here, mommy na talaga ako”. And then i saw her being cleaned, sabi pa ni marius “mommy, Yana nga!” hehehe, co’z we were having doubts before if it was really a girl, although s a ultrasound is girl talaga. During my l ast trimester of pregnancy, my tummy w as “matulis” and in our culture, it means boy di ba. E 100% ng nakakasalubong namin, they would blurt out “ay,lalaki yang anak mo!” And marius would be all in smile co’z he likes a son to be his first born, at ako, siempre, a girl coz of the kakikayan stuff that me and mydaughter could share. So now, heto, as of the moment i do all the kikay stuff on yana, and marius,very p rotective of her little girl. Nowadays nga, yana is very clingy more to Marius and deep inside , it hurts me . kaya naman kapag off ko, super QTako ke yanapot. HAy, the joys and pains of being a mommy!

oh, and this is my first post Marius has been prodding me to post something here pero the procrastinator me would always just give him a smile :p
